Michele Lynn Cote

Michele Lynn Coté, 50, of Wethersfield CT, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Thursday, February 19th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on October 30th,1975 along with her twin sister Melanie in Hartford, CT. She attended Manchester public schools and studied at Plymouth State College in NH. She was also a counselor at 4-H camp and was recently volunteering at CT Cat Connection. 

She is survived by her son Ethan Forest, her mother Patricia Coté, her beloved life-long friend Chris Esposito, all of Manchester, her sisters Melanie Coté of East Granby and Sue-Ellen-Smith of Union, NH, her nieces Valerie Swope and Jordyn Smith, and her nephews Kyle Riley and Miles Coté. 

Michele was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Coté, and her brother Daniel Coté. 

Michele showed her love of nature and animals by the many pets she had; dogs, cats, ducks, snakes, rabbits, and hamsters. She could be found camping in the woods with her friend Kyle Anderson or volunteering at animal rescue shelters. She had a special fondness for horses and could be found at Bolton Stables riding and caring for them, every weekend. Her sense of humor and wit will be missed terribly.

Funeral services will be held privately. There will be no public calling hours.
