Paul Michael Xayarath

Paul Michael Xayarath, affectionately known as "Ko," passed away at the age of 42 years old on March 8, 2024, in Waterbury, Connecticut. He was born to Somchay Xayarath and Chongthida Xayarath and beloved brother to Johnny Xayarath on June 29, 1981, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts.

Ko's greatest joy was bringing laughter and happiness to his three sons, Phillip, Stephon, and Joseph Xayarath. He was a master at telling jokes, singing and dancing with everyone he encountered, and creating memories with his loved ones at every opportunity they shared. His infectious laughter and generous spirit extended beyond his family.

Ko leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. He is survived by his children, Phillip, Stephon, and Joseph; his parents, Somchay and Chongthida; and brother, Johnny; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Service to honor Ko's life will be held on March 23, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Luddy & Peterson's Funeral Home & Crematory, 453 Christian Lane, Berlin, CT. Funeral and cremation services will follow at the onsite chapel, and a reception will be held at the Imperial Buffet after the service, where friends and family can share memories and celebrate Ko's life.

Serving as pallbearers are his sons Phillip, Stephon, and Joseph Xayarath, nephew Sire Xayarath, brother Johnny Xayarath, and first cousin James Xayarath.

Paul Michael "Ko" Xayarath will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His spirit, characterized by generosity, warmth, and a genuine love for life, will continue to live in the hearts of his family, friends, and all the lives he touched.
