She was employed at Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy Center in Brooklyn, NY.  She was a Care Coordinator where she assisted patients and provided a positive and welcoming atmosphere for the patients. Brittany grew up in McCullough Temple, now known as Grace C.M.E. Church where she was a junior usher, a member of the youth choir and in 2006 achieved 1st place in the Hartford Usher Unit Oratorical contest where she won a scholarship for college.

Brittany was a 2007 graduate of New Britain High School where she was a Canette, Cheerleader and a member of the track team. We often told her we thought she would be the next “Flo Jo”. She went on to graduate from the University of Connecticut in 2011 where she obtained her BA degree in Fine Arts. While at UConn, Brittany was in several plays at the CT Repertory Theater. She had roles in The Who’s Tommy, Hair, Pride & Prejudice, The Exonerated and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot where she had a lead role as the attorney for Judas.  She was also the 1st place runner up in the 2008 Miss African American UConn Pageant. Brittany attended NYU Tisch Graduate School (2012-2013) where she majored in acting.  When Brittany came home from college break, her first stop was to always pick up food from Taco Bell, her all-time favorite. She enjoyed cooking up a seafood feast with her father every New Year’s Eve.

After graduating from UConn, Brittany had an appearance on Celebrity Ghost Stories and on a commercial as a Cashier for Coupon Suzy.
